A Visceral insightTo me, pen and ink, stippling in particular, coalesce the visceral and tactile senses into a purely introspective adaptation of the subject. Often times I research the subject extensively before beginning the piece. Working with a more reflective medium leaves room for rapport and allows personal and subjective growth with the piece, empowering interpolation both into and outside of the self. Each piece is a pure reflection of space consumed.
